The Qing Dynasty Canal Records contains a great deal of first-hand information on the ecological environment and regional social aspects of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal in the Qing Dynasty.In terms of the ecological environment,there are records of rivers,lakes,springs,and waters associated with the canals,records of areas where natural disasters such as droughts,floods,and floods occur,and the degree of damage,as well as records of climate,crops,and agricultural ecological environments.In terms of regional society,there are records about urban villages and towns,terminal stations,commercial trade,local specialties,places of historic interest and historic interest,as well as records about folk customs,population movements,living conditions at all levels,and social order.These records have very important literature value in the social history research of the canal and its regions.Therefore,studying the Qing Dynasty Canal History helps us to deepen the understanding of the Qing Dynasty canal ecology and the canal culture.It is of great significance for the overall study of the Qing Dynasty Canal and the further exploration of the historical and cultural connotation of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal.This article is based on the collection of more than 40 kinds of Qing Dynasty canals as the main research object,using the mutual historical and historical evidence,literature historical and material synthesis and comparison research methods,combing the canal records of different authors,in-depth excavation and display The status of the economic and social development of the Daihe Canal region and its unique historical culture.In other words,through the classification and comparison of the canals written by authors of different ages and different backgrounds,we can take a glance at the development and changes of the canal and the canal region and extract the typical characteristics and general laws of the canal culture.This paper believes that the evolutionary path of the Qing Dynasty Grand Canal and its social and cultural characteristics are fully described and reflected in the Qing Dynasty Canal Records.The Qing Dynasty Canal Records can provide a diversified research perspective for the canal studies.It also explores new areas of information for the in-depth study of the social culture of the Chinese canal and canal areas.
