A Research On Wang Fu's Jun Dao Thought

As a famous political commentator and thinker in the later period of the Eastern Han Dynasty,in the feudal society with the absolute dominance of the monarchical power,Wang Fu's thought and purpose must be stamped with a profound era.Throughout his book “Qian Fu Lun”,although his idea is put forward in view of the late of the Eastern Han Dynasty which is an unrest society some way of governing,its service for the supreme ruler standing on the position of monarch fundamental changes to the problem-solving ideas does not happen.His element thought still is “monarch is wise,minister is sage,people are stable” train of thought,on the basis of deeply discusses the monarch should how to “be a good monarch,control the minister,govern the people”,thus reversing the decline of the country,and realizing it revival of the way for the monarch.This paper is based on this research idea to restore its real intention,with a view to fully grasp the “Jun Dao” thought embodied in his book “Qian Fu Lun”.This paper is divided into four parts.The chapter I Wang Fu and “Qian Fu Lun” is about the life and background of Wang Fu and on this basis,through the work of “Qian Fu Lun” detailed analysis,specific illustrates the research idea of this thesis and its construction system.The chapter II is Wang Fu's Jun Dao thought of the wise emperor about how to be a monarch and how to govern the country.In the study of the “Qian Fu Lun”,Wang Fu always believed that the rise and fall of the country depends mainly on the wise of the monarch and the proper way or not.The way of the wise emperor is to use “the emperor was granted divine power by heaven”as the law,“self-cultivation and virtue” as the foundation of the administration,and“power,law,trickery,situation” for the art of governing the country.Through these,he wished to awake the supreme ruler of the emperor to revive the imperial guidelines,thus the country could embark on from chaos to governance,from the governance to a strong road to rejuvenation.Thechapter III Wang Fu's Jun Dao thought of the talented people discusses the thought of talented people as a wise monarch based on the need of talents,and the talent was based on education.Therefore,he put forward on the education thought of “official selection”,the thought of “official selection” is based on “attaching great importance to the teaching”,using “according to the virtue to judge a man virtuous or not” and “positioning according to talent” as the method of selecting talents.The essence of it is to show the way of the prince,how to cultivate talent,use talent,and assess talents.The chapter IV Wang Fu's Jun Dao thought of the people-based which is based on the argument of “bread is the soul of life”,and analyzes the policies of enriching the people with “agriculture to enriching the people” as the way to be governing the people.Which use“setting up teaching by the people”as the way to change the people's custom.And from the perspective of “setting up the army,strictly prohibiting the law” discussed the way of monarch to protect the security of the people.Thus he pointed out how to realize the governance of the people as a monarch from the three aspects of “enriching people,teaching people and governing people”,and finally reaching the level of the harmony realm of “world peace,national stability,social security”.To sum up,we take the position of the monarch as a unified picture,and we have made an in-depth study of the Wang Fu's Jun Dao thought from the three aspects of “monarch,minister,people”.Thus,we have a preliminary understanding of Wang Fu and the age of life,at the same time,it can be learned that Wang Fu's Jun Dao thought has a far-reaching influence on the development of Chinese feudal society,to a certain extent,and it promote the spread and the development of the feudal monarch thought in China.
