Pride is a special kind of positive moral emotion, and it has been studied that pride is the emotion of a two dimensional structure with authentic pride and hubristic pride.About the influence of the two dimensional structure of pride on moral behavior, the conclusions of scholars in the past studies have been divergent, and most of them put forward their viewpoints from the theoretical point of view. Some scholars believe that pride is a positive moral emotion, which encourages the individual to produce moral behavior. But some other scholars believe that the two dimensions of authentic pride and hubristic pride are different.Empirical studies have explored the field of achievement, and hubristic pride subjects have shown less moral behavior to the stigmatized group than the authentic pride group. But in the moral field, the relationship between pride and moral behavior in the perspective of moral emotion is not clear. This study explores the relationship between pride and moral behavior from the perspective of moral emotion. This study has been explored through three parts.First, the validity of the two emotional arousal materials was verified by the pre experiment.A total of 30 subjects were involved in the experiment, with 10 people in each group. All subjects completed the authentic pride and hubristic pride scale to assess the baseline value of emotion;followed by behavioral recall tasks;and finally completed the post test evaluation of authentic pride and hubristic pride scale. The second part is the experiment one, exploring the influence of different pride on the explicit moral behavior of the individual.A total of 90 subjects were involved in the experiment, with 30 people in each group.First, the pretest steps were repeated for emotional initiation and evaluation;and then the subjects were allowed to complete the prosocial behavior scale. The third part is the experiment two, which explores the influence of different pride on the individual’s implicit moral behavior.A total of 90 subjects were involved in the experiment, with 30 people in each group.First, the pretest steps are repeated for emotional initiation and evaluation;and then the subjects are performed to complete the implicit association test. The results show that:(1)Emotional starting materials based on the concept of pride in the perspective ofmoral emotion and its two-dimensional structure, using the behavior recall paradigm, the authentic pride and hubristic pride of the subjects were successfully started.(2)There were significant differences in moral behavior tendency between the authentic pride group, the hubristic pride group and the control group. The moral behavior tendency of the subjects under the start of authentic pride emotional material were higher than those of the hubristic pride group, and the difference was significant;the authentic pride group had no significant difference from the control group. The moral behavior tendency of the subjects under the start of hubristic pride emotion material was lower than that of the authentic pride group and the control group, and the difference was significant.(3)There is no significant difference in the implicit moral behavior tendency between the authentic pride group, the hubristic pride group and the control group. There were significant differences in the implicit unethical behavior tendency between the authentic pride group, the hubristic pride group and the control group. The implicit and immoral tendencies of subjects who were initiated by authentic pride emotional material were lower than those of the hubristic pride group, and the difference was significant;the authentic pride group had no significant difference from the control group. The implicit unethical behavior in the subjects under the start of the hubristic proud emotional material was higher than the authentic pride and control group, and the difference was significant.
