The Effects Of Moral Self-regulation On People Who Fears Of Being Envied And The Enviers'Prosocial-behaviors

In this study,the subjects of fear of being envied and and the enviers were taken as research objects to explore the influence of moral self-regulation on prosocial-behaviors.Experiment 1 explored the influence of moral self-regulation of situational fear of being envied on prosocial behaviors.Experiment 2explored the influence of moral self-regulation of trait enviers on prosocial-behaviors.Experiment 3explored situational enviers of moral self-regulation effect on prosocial-behaviors.Three experiments adopt3(actual moral self awareness: positive words,negative words start,neutral words)× 2(the ideal moral self-image: high,low)mixed design.Between the subjects of design experiment results show that: 1 the ideal moral self image is higher,the situational afraid of being the envied of the more pro-social behaviosr;The situational fear of being envied had significant prosocial behaviors under the positive word priming.The results of experiment 2 showed that the higher the ideal moral self-image,the more pro-social behaviors the trait enviers subjects had.The results of experiment 3 showed that the higher the ideal moral self-image,the more pro-social behaviors the situational enviers had.The prosocial behaviors of the situational enviers under the positive lexical priming was significantly higher than that under the neutral lexical priming,and the moral behaviors were consistent.The prosocial behaviors under the negative word priming was significantly higher than that under the neutral words priming,and the phenomenon of the fluctuation of moral behaviors appeared.
