Shen Quan was a famous architect in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty.In the nine years of Emperor Kangxi's reign,Shen Quan was called to make books in different bodies.Afterwards,Shen Quan played the role of the calligraphy teacher of Kangxi.Kangxi Emperor praised Shen Quan's calligraphy and thought that his calligraphy could be used as a model.At that time,Shen Quan had already enjoyed the title.Deeply affected by Shen Quan,Emperor Kangxi began to learn Dong from the method of enrolling in Ou Yangxun Style and Yan Zhenqing Style,and praised Dong Feng with the will of the emperor,and assembled scholars whose calligraphy style is similar with Dong Qichang's from top to bottom.With the rise of Dong Qichang's calligraphy style in the early Qing dynasty,Shen Quan played a leading and guiding role.First,this article,taking Shen Quan's calligraphy art as an entry point,analyzes Shen quan's cursive style;then this article analyzes the calligrapher group who praised the Chong Dong Calligraphic Style in the Early Qing Dynasty highly,and discusses the important role that Shen quan played in the dissemination of the Chong Dong Calligraphic Style in the Early Qing Dynasty.This article is divided into three chapters: The first chapter discusses Shen Quan's extraction,peregrination and calligraphy achievements.The second chapter,on the one hand,discusses the cause of Shen Quan's calligraphy style formation,which is mainly discussed in terms of times,regions and teachers;on the other hand,it discusses the characteristics of Shen Quan's calligraphic style in the early and late period according to the collection of pattern data.The third chapter mainly discusses Shen Quan's impact on Kangxi scholarship and calligrapher group who praised the Chong Dong Calligraphic Style in the Early Qing Dynasty highly,headed by Shen Quan.This article discusses the influence of Shen Quan on Kangxi scholarship through Shen Quan's exchanges with the Kangxi Emperor in calligraphy and art,and explain the historical phenomenon of Chong Dong Calligraphic Style from the analysis of Kangxi's promotion of “Dong Shu” and the calligrapher group headed by Shen Quan.The spread of Dong Qichang's calligraphic style benefits from the promotions of Kangxi,Shen Quan and other calligraphers,which established Shen Quan's historical position in the early Qing Dynasty.
