The Research On The Kinship Terminology Of Yunnan Tengchong Dialect

Tengchong is located in the Southwestern Mandarin Area of Western Yunnan.Due to its complex ethnic composition,large-scale Juntun immigrants and special geographical location,the characteristics of the kinship terminology of Tengchong are different from those of the neighboring dialects and Southwest Mandarin dialect,but they are similar to those of the Jianghuai Mandarin.Based on the investigation and study of the kinship terminology of the dialects in Tengchong,and the literature materials,this article uses the methods of static description and comparison to categorize the system of kinship terminology in the Tengchong dialect.The purpose is to conduct a comprehensive and meticulous examination of the language and cultural characteristics of the relatives' titles in the area and the reasons for internal differences.This text can bedivided into five chapters:The first chapter mainly introduces the geography,history,population and ethnic profile of Tengchong,the previous research on the kinship terminology and kinship terminology in Yunnan dialect,and gives a brief explanation of the research method and source of corpus.In the second chapter,based on the field investigation,six representative points were divided,and the kinship terminology system of Tengchong dialect was described in detail.From this,the usage and internal similarities and differences between the kinship terminology of Tengchong dialect can be intuitively seen.The third chapter analyzes the linguistic features of the kinship terminology of Tengchong dialect from the aspects of pronunciation,word formation and use.Pronunciation groupings,presence-reading transpositions and non-reading transpositions,rhymes,and chords;word-building methods with additional compound words,diversified syllables,and 20 affixes;using Gu Yue's underlying words “Nai(?)” and “ Bo(?),using Wu's word "Nan(?)" and having "Sao(?)",focused on analyzing the use of six affixes of "old","small","althus","pro-" and "zi".The fourth chapter analyzes the cultural characteristics of Tengchong dialect's kinship terminology from the masculinization of female appellation,from his pronouns,nicknames and honorific titles.Nineteen kinship titles with female masculinity have been summed up,and fourteen solid genre titles have been included;from the cousins/diets/sisters/siblings/speakers,from the brothers/siblings,from the children/females,from Six titles such as grandchildren/female titles are from his relatives;some are nicknamed with superstitious colors,and honorific expressions embody a modest and courteous national mentality.The fifth chapter analyzes the influence of the unbalanced distribution of immigrants,marriage system,geographical location and ethnic integration,and causes the internal differences in the Kinship terminology of Tengchong dialects.
