With the promotion of Chinese education,more and more Chinese learners are able to come to China for systematic Chinese learning.According to the interaction and observation with the students,the author finds that they have some obstacles and problems in reading Chinese extra-curricular.Therefore,this paper selects the foreign students from three universities in Kunming as the research object.Through the questionnaire and interviews,this article investigates the present situation and needs of Chinese reading in overseas students.The purpose of this article is to understand the present situation of foreign students reading in extracurricular Chinese,There are some problems and reading needs.This study is mainly divided into two parts.One is to investigate the current situation of Chinese reading in overseas students.The other is to investigate the extracurricular Chinese reading needs of overseas students,and then to reflect some of the problems reflected in the survey results and how to meet the needs of foreign students Relevant suggestions are put forward for Chinese reading needs.First of all,the author investigates some reading characteristics of foreign students in Chinese extracurricular reading and investigates some existing problems.The survey finds that students generally believe that reading Chinese through extracurricular reading can help improve their Chinese proficiency.However,the actual Chinese extracurricular reading quantity is too little,their Chinese extra-curricular reading is subject to many factors such as Chinese level,school conditions and other factors.In addition,there are still some problems such as inconsistent reading attitude and reading behavior,incomplete utilization of library resources,and the failure of Chinese teachers to pay attention to the extra-curricular reading in Chinese.Secondly,in order to meet the demand of Chinese students for extra-curricular reading,the author investigates the contents of extracurricular reading,the requirements of reading conditions and the requirements of reading materials respectively.In terms of reading content,the reading expectations of students are consistent with those of reading content.Type and research-oriented demand,and recreational demand is more vigorous,students with different levels of Chinese have a bias toward the choice of reading material content;in terms of reading conditions,students have strong guidance for teachers,and demand for good reading conditionsStrong demand for library and cold demand for students of different levels of Chinese borrowing conditions and the demand for reading places there are significant differences and other characteristics of the demand for reading materials in the format of the students have a higher degree of demand for "heavy and difficult words to explain," different levels of Chinese students Significant differences in reading requirements for reading materials.In addition,this paper,based on the questionnaire and interviews,explores the influencing factors of Chinese students' extracurricular reading needs.The internal causes are mainly the limitations of the learners' own Chinese level.The choice of individual learning styles and learning styles affects the Chinese learners' The reasons and demands of the activities are mainly due to the lack of teachers' guidance in the choice of reading or reading activities,the lack of resources for Chinese reading resources in the library,the tedious borrowing conditions and the inadequate services for international students,which make the students unable to go smoothly,Efficient reading activities.Finally,the author puts forward some suggestions on reading subjects,Chinese teachers,university library construction and Chinese reading teaching materials according to the conclusion of the investigation and the conclusion of the study.Hopefully,this study can provide some help for the students to read the extracurricular Chinese reading and current reading problems.
