Study Of Yunnan Woodcuts During The War Of Resistance Against Japan

The rise,development and evolution of woodcut art were carried out in different social contexts.After the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War in 1937,woodcuts took the forefront of contemporary art,linking art creation with national liberation and developing woodcuts for the war of resistance.This is a manifestation of the cultural resistance.As one of the components of woodcuts in the rear part of the Anti-Japanese War,the woodcuts of the Yunnan Anti-Japanese War bear the social symbols,cultural characteristics and internal directions of the special era.This article takes the woodcuts of the Yunnan Anti-Japanese War as the research object,and sorts out its history.The article is organized as follows: The first chapter outlines the development of woodcuts in China in the order of time.The origins of Chinese woodcuts,the emergence and development of modern woodcuts,and the background of national disasters woodcut of the war of resistance.The second chapter describes the activities of woodcuts in Yunnan during the War of Resistance against Japan,and conducts detailed analysis of woodcut talent training,woodcut organizations and organizations,publication of newspapers,magazines and woodcuts,and woodcut exhibitions.The third chapter combines the woodcarving works of Yunnan Anti-Japanese War,and focuses on the analysis of the three manifestations of woodcuts and woodcut themes of Yunnan's anti-Japanese woodcuts,and discusses issues related to woodcut expressions and creative themes.The fourth chapter analyzes the wartime value of the woodcuts of the War of Resistance against Japan.It mainly discusses the three aspects of reflecting the reality in wartime,propelling the wartime propaganda and enhancing the artistic value.At present,scholars rarely conduct research on the woodcuts of the anti-Japanese war from the perspective of history,and basically do not sort out the woodcuts of the Yunnan Anti-Japanese Woodcut.Therefore,the study of woodcuts in Yunnan during the War of Resistance against Japan was of great significance for understanding the wartime value of war woodcuts in Yunnan and wartime cultural propaganda.
