Analysis On Multiple Perspectives And Modern Significance Of Technological Rational Thoughts Of Frankfurt School

Modernization,which supports by science and technology,makes people live in a better material life than before.Meanwhile,people are becoming more dependent and more worshipful to technical rationality.However,neutral science and technology is growing towards alienation in the lopsided development,which also arise some unexpected negative effects.Critical reflection to technical rationality is an important project,which is a philosophy of living world.In the various critical thoughts of technical rationality,Frankfurt School is unique in critical thoughts of technical rationality,which has significant ideological value in developing science and technology and constructing modernization.This thesis elaborates the origin of technical critical thoughts of Frankford School,and its influence by Marx's alienation theory,Web's and Lukacs' rational critical thinking.After analyzing technical rational criticism thoughts of some famous ideologist,like Marcuse,Horkheimer,Adorno and Habermas,this thesis explores the multiple dimensions of Frankford school's thoughts from the ideological perspective of thinking model alienation,man and nature alienation as well as science and technology alienation.In terms of thinking model alienation,it reveals that technical rationality integrates such domains as economy,politics and culture into its own ruling system.So that human thinking loses the dimension of negation and transcendence,and human existence is affirmative.In terms of losing subjectivity,it elaborates that the rationalism results in alienation problems between human and nature and between people to people.The alienation problem of the department also reveals that the technical rationality,confirming the essential strength of the person,becomes a tool for controlling and enslaving human,and becomes a self-discipline power.In the aspect of alienation of science and technology into ideology,it discusses that science and technology become ideology and are fully functional in ideology.Besides,science and technology become a new rule and defend for rule.In the face of the comprehensive rule of technical rationality,how to transcend the alienation of technical rationality,the author analyzes the theorists' views of the Frankfurt school and discusses the ideological path and theoretical purport of the technical rationality of the Frankfurt school.Finally,this paper discusses its practical significance to the construction of modernization of China and the development of science and technology.
