Psychological Resilience refer to the ability of individuals to adapt positively under adversity and stress, which is an important factor that influences college students' mental health and happiness.Kumpfer emphasized the role of cognition and emotion in the resilience framework model.Troy and Mauss further proposed that cognitive emotion regulation can influence resilience through reappraisal. It is concluded that the resilience can be effectively improved by improving the ability to regulate cognitive emotions.Dialectical Behavior Therapy(DBT)is a cognitive behavioral therapy with emotion regulation as the core. This therapy consists of four modules: mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness. It aims to improve emotional cognitive and regulating capabilities. The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of college students' cognitive emotion regulation strategies on resilience, through dialectical behavioral therapy group intervention to change students' cognitive emotion regulation strategies and improve resilience. The main results of this study are as follows:(1)The mental resilience of college students is generally good, but 5% of them are still less than the theoretical value and need to be improved. On cognitive emotion regulation strategies, the score on positive strategies were higher than negative strategies.However,10 percent of the participants had a higher score on negative strategy than positive, indicating that these groups were more likely to use negative emotional regulation in times of difficulty.(2)Resilience score had extremely positive significant correlation with positive reappraisal, refocus on planning, positive refocusing, and acceptance, which was significantly negatively related to rumination, blame oneself and catastrophe. Some cognitive emotion regulation strategies have predictive effect on resilience, positive reappraisal and refocus on planing can positively predict resilience, while rumination can negatively predict resilience.(3)Participants with lower resilience score and those with higher score had significant differences in cognitive emotion regulation strategies. The participants with low resilience scored higher on the strategy of negative cognitive emotion regulation and scored lower on the positive cognitive emotion regulation strategy.(4)The training of dialectical behavior therapy can effectively improve the psychological resilience of college students. After eight weeks of psychological intervention, the total score of mental resilience and the scores of each dimension increased significantly.(5)Dialectical behavioral therapy can significantly improve the positive of cognitive emotion regulation to accept, positive refocusing, positive reappraisal, and significantly reduce the negative cognitive emotion regulation of rumination, self blame and catastrophe.(6)There was no significant decrease in the psychological resilience tracking score after 3 months of intervention, indicating that the intervention of the dialectical behavioral therapy group could maintain a better long-term effect.
