Tang Xianzu was a famous opera writter in the Ming dynasty.Tang Xianzu's literary thought is famous for his "love"."The four dreams of Linchuan" is Tang Xianzu's most famous opera works.Tang Xianzu divided "love" into two kinds of good and evil.The two emotions are presented to the audience through the art form of drama.This paper will analyze the thoughts of Tang Xianzu's "love and evil" in the "four dreams of linchuan".The thesis is divided into three parts:The first part mainly analyzes the ideological basis and the specific connotation of the emotion concept of "the good and evil".From the traditional Confucian doctrine of mencius' "sexual goodness" and xun zi's "theory of sexual evil".Analysis of the influence of yangming psychology and Tang Xianzu's teacher Luo Rufang from the late Ming dynasty.The second part mainly analyzes the manifestation of "the good and evil" in the Peony pavilion.It mainly analyzes the emotions of several main characters,including Du Linniang,Du bao,Chen and so on.Du Liniang is a symbol of good,Tang Xianzu gave the girl the greatest care and praise.Du's father and her teacher are very typical of the influence of the social orthodoxy of the Ming dynasty.They treat their individual feelings differently than Du.They are more complex characters of good and evil emotions.The third part mainly analyzes the embodiment of "the good and evil" in the three works of "The purple hairpin","Nanke" and "Handan".It mainly involves the emotion of the characters in the works and The Times climate reflected."The purple hairpin" highlights the sincere feelings of Huo Xiaoyu and Li Yi.In "Nanke" and "Handan",Tang Xianzu realized the good side of love and the evil side of "love".
