Linchuan Four Dreams as Tang Xianzu's most famous opera works,in addition to showing respect and pursuit of emotions,it also reflects Tang Xianzu's profound political thinking."Four Dreams" created a large number of official images. They were Tang Xianzu's most vivid and plump product after experiencing the dark officialdom of the Ming Dynasty.Tang Xianzu used them to express his ideals and expectations,as well as disappointment and disgust for the officialdom. This article will specifically study the image of the officials in Linchuan Four Dreams and Tang Xianzu's writing on the officialdom of the Ming Dynasty. The thesis is divided into five parts:The part of introduction is mainly summarize and explain the significance of the topic and make a literature review. The first chapter counts and classifies the officials in the Four Dreams, analyzes the characteristics of different types of officials in the "Four Dreams" and the problems of the officialdom in the Ming Dynasty reflected in the text.In this chapter, the officials in the Four Dreams are divided into six categories:treacherous ministers, loyal ministers, new ministers, eunuchs, crafty beadle, and military officer, and then describe their characteristics in detail. At the same time, according to such classification and analysis to reveal the officialdom of the Ming Dynasty comprehensively and vividly. The second chapter analyzes some other problems of the officialdom of the Ming Dynasty reflected in the Four Dreams. These problems are not directly reflected in the shaping of the official image, but are indirectly reflected in the text and hidden behind the official image. They are deeper officialdom problems, such as the ruler and the imperial examination system. The Four Dreams through direct and indirect descriptions, reflect the characteristics of emperor's desire for extravagance, autocracy, indifference, and vanity, showing that in the dark officialdom, emperor is often associated with corrupt forces, and sometimes even they are the source of corrupt forces themselves. The Four Dreams also indirectly expressed the author's dissatisfaction with the imperial examination system by describing the incompetence of the genius, and directly denounced the darkness of the imperial examination system by plotting nepotism and money bribery.Chapters 3 and 4 study the reasons why Tang Xianzu wrote officialdom, and answered the questions of why Tang Xianzu wrote officialdom and why he wrote officialdom in this way.The third chapter analyzes the obvious reason of Tang Xianzu's officialdom, which is the realistic cause. The first is the influence of Ming Dynasty officials.By combing Ming Dynasty officials such as Zhang Juzheng,Shen Shixing,Zhao Bangqing, and Tang Xianzu, analyses what role they play in Tang Xianzu's journey as a government official, and their positive or negative effects. Finally, analyze their influence on the creation of "Four Dreams" and look for traces of their reflection in Four Dreams. This chapter will also screen the previous "stab Zhang Juzheng theory"one by one.Secondly, the two major events of Suichang's good governance and abandoned government return to Tang Xianzu's creation of the "Four Dreams".Suichang's good governance enabled Tang Xianzu to practice his political ideas in a small area, and he happily moved the beautiful picture of Suichang into "Persuading Farmers" and "Wind Rhymes",but the management of Suichang also made him realize the weakness of his own power, and more directly and deeply saw the ugly truth of the official group, until he took the initiative to resign and leave the official circles eventually,Tang Xianzu's thinking and mentality have undergone tremendous changes. So these experiences are an important reason for Tang Xianzu's efforts to sue the darkness of the officialdom in the Four Dreams. The fourth chapter analyzes the hidden reasons of Tang Xianzu's writing of officialdom, that is,some ideological reasons, including Tang Xianzu's political and philosophical thoughts.Tang Xianzu pursued a virtuous monarch and a good pastor throughout his life,so he shaped virtuous officials in the Four Dreams and sang praises to beauty. However, due to repeated blows from reality,he had to give up the reformism he had always practiced. This fall and fragmentation made Tang Xianzu hate the officialdom and became more confused about the way out,so he turned to criticize the officialdom, and at the same time gave the way out to "dreams".As far as philosophy is concerned, first of all,Tang Xianzu's loneliness led him to look at the times calmly and objectively. At the same time, the images of some protagonists were also lonely.Second,in the post-two dreams,Tang Xianzu weaves all the hero's experiences into dreams, arranges the hero to go to epiphany, understands everything as void, but the dream is full of real and authentic details, which reflects that Tang Xianzu was ambivalent about Buddhist thought and Confucianism.Through interpret the contradictions,we can find that Tang Xianzu's choice of retire from the world was actually because there was no way out in reality. In the end,Tang Xianzu formed his own philosophical outlook after interacting with the ideological circle. He jumped out of the siege of Confucianism and Buddhism and determined his own "most affectionate" thought. He did not blindly obey the world, but was not indifferent either. He confronted the official life with the most sincere feelings,to fight against the sinking world trend, and to criticize the ubiquitous official politics. In summary,Tang Xianzu's political and philosophical thoughts played an important role in guiding the official writing of the Four Dreams.Concluding remarks summarize and summarize the content of this article.
