Officials of the Ming Dynasty will study at night and sleep during the day before taking the merits of the imperial examination.They often break the traditions and have a unique lifestyle.After becoming an official,central bureaucrats need routine after the court attendance.The local officials need sign-up and routine.They have busy office and tense routine.During leisure time,they will rationally allocate time,engaging in writings,talks,letter-mailing stay indoors or touring landscapes,drinking wine and visiting gardens and Buddhist temples in outbound.In all kinds of leisure activities,they relax themselves and gain physical and mental pleasure.This article uses Yuan Hongdao to glimpse the life style of officials in Ming Dynasty.In my opinion,Yuan Hongdao represents an official scholar who pursues noble and elegant culture in a relatively economically developed areas of late Ming dynasty.He's life reflects the work and leisure of scholars in the Ming Dynasty.It is a reflection of the social life style of scholar-bureaucrats in the Ming Dynasty.The first chapter,introducing the court attendance and routine of Ming central bureaucrats.The local officials need sign-up and routine.It can be seen that they have the busy and tense work schedule.Through the analysis of Yuan Hongdao's official experience,public affairs and office mood,one can observe that even a well-known literary man like Yuan Hongdao has a busy and stressful life.He even feels bored and wants to resign.The second chapter discusses the leisure life of Yuan Hongdao stay indoors,such as reading,flowering or sit quietly.It shows that he is willing to engage in and get a short break.Discuss Yuan Hongdao's letter-writing and postal activities,analyzed that he got understanding in letters.At the same time,Yuan Hongdao formed a nationwide social circle through social communication and social crowds in Yuan Hongdao's correspondence,analyzing the political intent of his social connections.In the third chapter,Yuan Hongdao was engaged in the suburban tourism activities.And the location is around the office.It can be seen that he has the busy work and stressful routine.There is no time to travel.Through Yuan Hongdao's excursion to famous gardens,visiting Buddhist temples,it can be seen that even if Yuan Hongdao travels for a short time,he is eager to engage in these activities,even if he gets a trace of pleasure.In the fourth chapter,when Yuan Hongdao travels,he often feels that there is not enough time for playing and the time fastly.He has a limited time and pays more attention to the choice of travel destination.It's not difficult to find that Yuan Hongdao's mentality of strong travel and unique and freedom.
