English writing is a professional skill in learning English,especially for senior high school students,to master a solid writing skill is particularly important.Ordinary High School English Curriculum Standards(Experiment)(It will refer to as "Standards" in the following passage.)on the writing of high school students put forward new requirements.However,the common problem of English teaching in our country is that the students' English foundation is weak and students pay less attention to English learning.Most students have serious psychological fear in English writing.Many students do not love writing.In this context,it is very important to explore the way of corrective feedback to improve the level of English writing and writing ability of high school students.The author explores the impact of corrective feedback on high school English students' writing in the background of current education and teaching in order to solve the problem with more feasible methods.The author chooses 71 students in Class 182,Senior Grade One of Xundian No.1High School in Kunming City,Yunnan Province as the subjects.The students are divided into the experimental group and natural group.The students in the two groups are selected.As for the students of natural group,the teacher provides corrective feedback when they finish their English compositions;while as for the students of experimental group,two assessments are used to correct their English writing,including teachers' corrective feedback and peer checking assessment.Two months later,the teacher asks students to re-correct and rewrite the 8 compositions.Through comparing the results of pre-test and post-test,the author analyze the impacts of corrective feedback on the linguistic accuracy of senior high school studengts' English writing.Through the comparative analysis,the results show that teachers' corrective feedback has a significant effect on improving students' writing level and writing accuracy.Besides,peer checking assessment can significantly improve students' initiative and enthusiasm for writing,and thus improve the students' writing in English class.In addition,it has individual differences on the impacts of correctivefeedback on the linguistic accuracy of senior high school studengts' English writing.It is clear that corrective feedback improves the top students obviously.Based on the results,the author puts forward some suggestions on the teaching of high school English writing: First,teachers make good use of the enthusiasm of.peer checking assessment On the basis of teachers 'error correction,we can use the model of mutual evaluation,which can fully mobilize students' learning and the ability to improve the self-learning and writing ability;Second,teachers focus on correcting the students' grammar language errors;Third,according to the different student situations,teachers can use the appropriate teaching methods to correct the wrong ways,teachers should pay more attention to students' writing ability.But also teachers predict the future of the potential review of students through the development of the eye,more talk and communicate with the students.Through using new feedback patterns and feedback channels,teachers enhance students' interests in English writing and eliminate their fear of writing in English.Besides,it reminds that teachers should not only pay attention to students' writing,but also pay attention to improving and digging out their potential ability,which completely solves the problems on English writing.
