Research On The Prime Minister Of Tang-xianzong And The Yuanhe Restoration

After the reign of Xianzong,he took Taizong's entrepreneurship and the governance of Xuanzong as an example to be emulated.In order to reverse situation which has existed the official corruption,economic difficulties,the gradual weakening of the central power,and the military governor's expanding power,Xianzong put the prime minister in an important position,raised the authority of the prime minister,rectified the official,reformed the economy,and quelled the rebellion of military forces,which resulting in "world-famous and reconstruction of discipline " and the grand occasion of the Yuanhe Restoration.The restoration was the only revival in the middle and late Tang dynasty.And this situation is the result of the joint effect of various factors,of which the prime minister group plays an important role in the emergence of restoration.Based on the results of previous researches,this article attempts to start from the analysis of the group of Tang Xianzong and prime minister,through the development of the relationship with their study and court politics to illustrate the influence of the Yuanhe Restoration.The paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter analyzes the social background from after An Shi Rebellion to the Yuanhe Restoration.It shows that political corruption,economic constraints,and the prosperous town are the three major political problems at that time.The second chapter mainly discusses the general situation of the imperial prime minister group.From the three aspects which consists of the perspective of the prime minister's family and official career,the prime minister's virtues and talents,and the relationship between the prime minister and the monarch to make a concrete analysis.Through the analysis it can be known that the official correct behavior,abilities,and harmony with Xianzong,which lay the talent resource for the realization of the Yuanhe Restoration.The third chapter deals with the social problems that have arisen in the first chapter.Through a series of reforms and efforts,the corruption has converged.Thesocial atmosphere of the Xianzong period has been dampened.It has provided political power for governing the army and economic reforms have increased the country's income.It has laid the material foundation for the military force.By weakening the power of the military governor and the military strikes,their strength has been weakened,the centralization of power has been strengthened,and the country has become united again.The fourth chapter summarizes the efforts of the political,economic,and military endeavors of the various parties that led to the formation of Yuanhe Restoration and analyze the impact of it.
