Revolutionary Model Operas is the typical proletarian literary work,which showing the characteristics of Chinese literary works which written under intervention of political ideology in that special political period.This dissertation aims to explore not only the Opera's narrative characteristics,but also the political ideology intervene to the narrative strategy of Model Operas under an objective attitude.Through the perspective of narratology,this dissertation analyzes the characters,plots and discourses of Revolutionary Model Operas.Finding several narrative features of Revolutionary Model Operas.First,the narrative function and characteristics of characters are typed and one-sided.Second,The Narrative sequences and the way of it's combination in every opera are also oversimplified.Third,the opposites model in every opera's deep narrative structures showing a trend of simplifying and typing.Last,from the narrator's and character's discourse,we can make a conclusion that the narrative discourse of Revolutionary Model Operas are political,class character and poetic.
