| Taoism has been the native religion in China,which arose from the end of Han Dynasty.It had a great development in the Tang Dynasty and Song Dynasty,but gradually became secular and decadent in the Ming dynasty.As a group closely related to Taoism,Taoist priest were constantly described and deficated by the ancient Chinese novels.In the Ming dynasty,there is a common phenomenon about the description of Taoist priest,which is a literary interpretation of the social,political,cultural and religious interaction in the Ming dynasty.This paper takes the Taoist priest in the Zhiguai and Chuanqi fictions of Ming dynasty as the research object,and examines the characteristics of the Taoist priest in the descriptions of the novel,and explains the social and cultural connotation and literary value.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter traces the rise of the Taoist and summarizes the characteristics of the description of Taoist priest in the previous Zhiguai and Chuaiqi fictions,as the basis for the discussion of the description of Taoist priest in the Zhiguai and Chuanqi fictions of Ming dynasty.The second chapter,on the Angle of Taoist activities,the desctipition of Taoist priest in the Zhiguai and Chuanqi Fictions of the Ming dynasty is divided into four categories:Relief the world,Prophecy,Teaching and Magic.The third chapter mainly discusses the social and cultural implication of the description of Taoist priest in the Zhiguai and Chuanqi fictions of Ming dynasty.This chapter consists of three parts.The first part combines historical materials to analyze the tradition of the society in the Ming dynasty and the world mentality of pursuing money and wealth;The second part,analysis the the thriving of Zhengyi and Shenxiao factions in Ming dynasty by quantitative and analogy,and makes a research on the people’s collective imagination about Lv Dongbin,discuss the relationship between Taoism in Ming dynasty and people’s lives;The third part is based on the node of the transformation of the socialideological trend in the middle and late Ming dynasty,and deeply explores the psychology of literary creation reflected by the game of the description of Taoist priest.The fourth chapter combines the identity of the Taoist religion culture connotation,dig the Taoist writing unique narrative significance and has not been previous attention the illusion of aesthetic effect,in order to show the position of the discripition of Taoist priest in Zhiguai and Chuanqi fictions of the Ming Dynasty. |
