Documentaries,are a social art loyal to life and reality.It looks like a mirror of society and presents social reality in the eyes of the masses.Therefore,since the birth of documentary,audiences have always been stable.Since the birth of the documentary,the research and exploration of documentary films have emerged in an endless stream.Not only in the field of creation,but also in theoretical research.A lot of research shows that the art form of documentary is very popular with the public.In recent years,there have been a large number of new documentaries,such as "the Imperial Palace","Daming Palace" and "I repair the cultural relics in the Imperial Palace" and so on.These films have been applied to some creative techniques such as "Scene reappearance","storytelling narratives","CG technology" and so on.They are greatly appreciated by the audience,but these techniques are also controversial.The basic principle of a documentary is truth and objectivity.The creative techniques such as "Scene reappearance" have violated the reality in the external form,so people have different opinions on such creative means.Taking the short film as an example,this paper makes a thorough study of the application of "Scene reproduction",which is mainly divided into three parts.The first part is the introduction.First,there is a whole skeleton of the interpretation of the article,which is mainly divided into 3 parts such as the basis and significance of the topic selection,the exploration of the origin of the scene reproduction and the controversy about the scene reappearance.The second and third parts are the body of the article.It mainly combines the short films " no question of place " to elaborate the merit and the application principle of "Scene reproduction" through the problems in the film shooting and his own experience.
