Good & evil is a universal concept in Kant.It is not our weal and woe(ill),but a moral judgment according to the ground of determination of the will of human behavior. The humanity which could be judged between good and evil refers to the human nature based on freedom, and the key of good & evil of human nature is,if the maxim of behavior could be a universal law by itself.Although there are two possibilities for the human nature of a free man,the first behavior of human's free will in reality,is against the law and stooping to evil, since there is a propensity to evil in human nature which includes three levels:First, the fragile of human nature;Second, the impurity of moral motivation which mixes with other perceptual unmoral motivations; And the third, human perverts the moral order of the motivation of behavior intentionally in the condition of realizing the moral law, which is the most stubborn evil and also a kind of radical evil in human nature. But when Kant says that there is a kind of radical evil,he just makes a empirical judgment on the nature of the generation of human beings rather than a conceptual interpretation. We can not explore the origin of radical evil in time, but investigate its existence reasoningly, and take the radical evil as a free man may do evil in every moment;Such kind of a radical evil can damage the moral faculty of human beings seriously,so one must change it to good, and the possibility is that there are also three kinds of original predisposition to good in human nature; These predispositions are always contained in the real evil as the seed of good and will never be effaced,so,to change the evil to good is to restore the original predisposition to good and make the moral law itself a adequate motivation. To achieve this goal, one should not only improve his practices, but also transform his cast of mind for a revolution in his disposition. However,he will never make it come true completely in himself, since the real revolution is only in God,so he must believe in God.Kant's belief in God does not mean worshiping for grace, but doing the all that obligation asks to and making oneselfworthy of the assistance; To this end,one must believe in the existence of God,pursue the idea of good,be ready at all times to fight with evil, and above all, practise a good life-conduct.In the premise of a free human nature,Kant insists a dialectic view of good& evil, speaks highly of human value and dignity, and advocates a moral religion.
