Maurice Ravel is the most famous composer in France after Faure Gabriel and Claude Debussy during the end of 19 th century to 20 th century. Most of his music compositions are mainly about piano picecs and orchestra picecs. Not many songs were composed, just 39 picecs,so it can't compare with Faure or Debussy's songs composing. But his songs composing ran through all his composing time. And it promoted the development of Melodies. This thesis takes his composition <Five Greek Folk Songs > as an example, combines with my singing experience,to analyse the composing and singing skills of this music piece.
