Chinese traditional handicraft has a long history and brilliant achievements,in the long history,many kinds of traditional handicraft had played an important role in the history of the brilliant China,traditional handicraft had formed its unique cultural value,artistic value and commercial value.With the development and popularity of modernization and industrialization,traditional handicraft market demand is more and more small,and mentoring inheritance way more and more adapt to the development of modern society and traditional crafts,not comply with market economy and adapt to the era of production and life style,from the traditional crafts and many other factors.The China traditional handicraft in modern society gradually out of people's life,more and more distant from the real life.In order to realize the inheritance and development of traditional handicraft,all walks of life have made great efforts and contributions to it.The Ministry of Culture issued the strengthening of the Ministry of culture intangible cultural heritage protection production guidance;Chinese traditional technology promotion program"for the development of traditional crafts and provides direction;enterprises and individuals pay more and more attention and devotion to the traditional handicraft to promote the living heritage of traditional crafts.This study,with Oriental secret brand as an example,through the investigation and analysis to the analysis of the traditional process in modern design.Oriental secret applies the traditional technology to modern product design through the traditional technology of the national intangible cultural heritage through the way of the national inheritor or the producer,so as to achieve the productive protection and live inheritance of traditional technology.Oriental secret brand including bags,clothing,jewelry,furniture,textile etc.categories of products.Through the study of the brand of Oriental secret,we find that there are many innovations in the application of the Oriental secret brand to traditional Chinese handicrafts,and there are also problems in its application.The main innovations include cross-border product customization services,a variety of traditional crafts,leather on the fusion process innovation,the combination of traditional and modern embroidery;the problems are to achieve living contradiction between state Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance and development of commercial use of non heritage items using the perfunctory,design is not modern,positioning is not clear,no the formation of the unique style,lack of innovation.In view of these problems,the paper proposes some suggestions,such as go luxury line,improve the design level;dig the traditional handicraft culture connotation;enhance brand awareness,clear brand positioning,highlight the brand characteristics;prominent visual presentation;aesthetic and spiritual needs in-depth understanding of contemporary people and target groups as well as the modern design features.In view of the problems in the non life brand proposal,to find effective methods for protection,inheritance and development of traditional technology,increasing the application of China traditional handicraft in modern design,realize the symbiosis and co prosperity China traditional handicraft and modern design.
