Text Translation From The Perspective Of Intertextuality

As the greatest playwright and poet in the Renaissance,Shakespeare has left valuable spiritual wealth for world literature.Shakespeare's dramas have spread to all countries in the world and have affected hundreds of thousands of literati and writers,which also have exerted tremendous and far-reaching influence on the development of theatricals and poetry in all countries and has become the bond and source of world cultural development and exchange.British writer Jane Armstrong,the author of Arden Shakespeare Miscellany,described Shakespeare's life,works,preferences and so on to show Shakespeare unknown aspects of people.Taking the theory of intertextuality as a guide and the contents of Chapter One,Chapter Two,Chapter Three and Chapter Six as examples,this report will present the difficulties encountered in the translation process and the corresponding translation skills.Quotation,allusion,parody and collage are the embodiment of intertextuality in literary works,this report will discuss the details from these aspects.The report is divided into several parts: The first part is introduction,which mainly introduces the background,purpose and significance of the translation practice.The first chapter is an overview of the project,which focuses on the source of the topic and the content of the translation materials.The second chapter is the description of the translation process,mainly including three steps.The third chapter introduces theoretical basis of this report,and then analyzes three textual features.The fourth chapter is case study,which illustrates the Intertextuality,as well as several specific cases.The last chapter is conclusion,the author put forward the shortcomings and experience of this translation practice.It is hoped that this report would provide a useful reference point for future related translation studies and translators.
