The position of Liu Na‘ou as the first person of the Chinese New sensationalism is beyond doubt.But he was born in the Japanese colonies of Taiwan in 1905 and was called the ?richest master of Tainan‘,in addition to the later composition and action,Liu Na‘ou was guilty of a crime of identity.He was not only different from the left-wing writers,but also different from the nationalist writers,so he was defined the ?another one‘.This title makes him to be a ?marginalized‘ writer independent of the mainstream.On one hand,the Chinese don't share his values,on the other hand,the populism ideology in China has obscure the importance of the city for a long time,so Liu Na‘ou has become the ?another one‘ who is different from the mainstream.With the development of ?urban consciousness‘ in recent years,the aesthetic tendency of New Sensation School has been more and more valued.Based on Liu Na‘ou's real life,this paper will analyze the reasons why he insists on the ?pure art‘.I hope to enrich the writer's image in the process of tracing the origin of Liu Na‘ou's literature and art,so as to weaken Liu Na‘ou's labels.To trace the source of Liu Na‘ou 's view of literature and art,it is necessary to speak from his identity.He shows the dual characteristics of the bourgeoisie and the colonial people.Liu Na‘ou thought he was a modern man who was also talented and romantic.And his national identity is blurred,so he found a resonance from the Neo – sensibility.His works inherit the writing style of the Japanese new sensationalism,and do not ask the origins and whereabouts of the characters,as well as take ?logical logic‘ instead of ?rational logic‘.Liu Na‘ou is good at creating an urban atmosphere with some strong sense collocations in a wandering wanderer.In the flow of consciousness,the writer's real life shows intertextuality with his works.And the feeling of roaming also echoes the wanderings of the author's sense of identity.Finding the origin of Liu Na‘ou's view of literature and art will help us to analyse the reasons why the relationships between Liu Na‘ou and the left wing writer group,Jiang Jieshi National Government,as well as Japanese military undergo changes.Liu Na‘ou is a writer who does not need to struggle for material,so he dose not to put the vexation of real life in his works like Balzac.At the same time,Liu Na‘ou is a person who has a vague sense of identity,so he wants to hind into the world of art to avoid the pain in his heart on the problem of national identity.Therefore,it is inevitable that he becomes different from the mainstream gradually.The dual identity of bourgeois writers and colonial writers has created Liu Na‘ou's view of literature and art,and then this view reacts on his artistic creation and social activities,which makes him gradually become the so-called the "another one".
