Yu Yingshi researches history adhering to the principle of no fixed theories and methods for studying historical issues.Therefore,he studies historical issues,using a variety of methods and theories,formed a unique style of history.This article focuses on the theoretical characteristics of Yu Yingshi's historical thought,mainly including cultural outlook and variation view.Yu Yingshi is full of cultural feelings.He studies historical issues concerned about the historical figures of thinking and spiritual world,focusing on the ideological and cultural perspective to explain the history.For the study of ancient Chinese economic and political aspects,He thought it from the perspective of cultural.Yu Yingshi can through the change of ancient and modern,into the statements of a school.He is concerned about historical events or historical changes in the problem,good at changing in the continuous tradition,and through this continuous tradition,to explain the historical changes.This article also studies Yu Yingshi's methods for studying historical issues focusing on the history of Chinese and Western cultural comparison.Yu Yingshi insists on the comparison between Chinese and Western cultures in the way of studying history.Through the comparison with the western culture,we can find out the commonness and individuality of Chinese and Western culture.He grasps the different characteristics of different cultures,and insists on diversity of culture.He opposes the Western central theory,and thinks that culture is not the merits of the points.Each culture has its unique style,so he is compared with Western culture to highlight the colorful Chinese culture.
