| As the second largest fishing area in Zhejiang Province,Yuhuan has rich fishery resources,numerous fishermen,and developed fisheries.Fishery organizations also have a long history.Traditional fishery organizations,fishing corps and fishing gangs included,played a significant role in promoting local fishery development during the period from ancient times to the early years of the Republic of China.With the establishment of the Republic of China,these fishery organizations have been unable to fit the times and have been replaced by new types of fishing clubs.The Yuhuan Fishing Union was established from 1930 to the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War.The development is relatively rapid.After the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War,the Yuhuan fishing association suffered heavy losses and its development was almost stagnant.After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War,the Yuhuan Fishermen’s Union quickly rebuilt under the support of the local government,and then had a complicated relationship with the local government.There was good cooperation between the two parties and inevitably there were some struggles.This article selects the Yuhuan Fishing Association as a case to study its interaction with local governments during the post-war period from 1945 to 1949,from the post-war local government assistance for the Yuhuan Fishing Association and the Yuhuan Fishing Association and local governments.Cooperation and struggle between the two sides. |
