| Shenyinjiangulu is a Kunqu Opera Highlights anthology edited in middle of Qing Dynasty.The book selected 66 Opera Highlights from Pipa,the Purple Hairpin,Red Pear,Er Sun Fu,the Palace of Eternal Youth,the Peony Pavilion,the West Chamber,the Story of Mingfeng,Tie Guan Map.As the script for stage performance,the Shenyinjiangulu has the nature of "directing script",which contains the comprehensive and rich Chinese Opera directing art.This paper analyzes the directing art from three angles of "director and scripts","director and actors","director and stage".The first chapter "Director and Script",using two angles(choosing the scripts,modifying the scripts)to analyse the directing art of Shenyinjiangulu.For “choosing the scripts”.Firstly,the Shenyinjiangulu has choosen a lots of historic classic Chinese Opera scripts.Secondly,choosen the popular Chinese Opera scripts in that time,which is the power of audience.For modifying the scripts.The Shenyinjiangulu mainly use five ways,like “increasing”,“deleting”,“changing”,“dividing”,“moving”,to promote the plot,or to shape the character image,or to sublimate theme ideas.The most important feature of Shenyinjiangulu is "increasing" : interspersed interaction,adding characters and detailing manners.At the same time,the editor takes pains to increase the plot of manners,reflects the editor’s personal director thought,that is,using stage performance as a tool to maintain and publicize feudal hierarchy and order.The second chapter "the director and the actor",using "the prompt of singing and speaking ","the prompt of acting and acrobatic",and " the prompt of characters’ disposition " three angles to analyze the directing art of Shenyinjiangulu.These prompts can highlight the character,represent characters’ physical and mental status,or performance character characteristics.The third chapter "Director and Stage" mainly from these three angles,dividesinto four subsections to analyze the directing art of Shenyinjiangulu.For staging art,stage costumes and props are important tools that director uses to create characters.Stage sound,as the auxiliary element which is not commonly used in the drama,is also used flexibly by the director in the Shenyinjiangulu to create the stage atmosphere.Stage scheduling,is the main means for the director to create stage performances.In Shenyinjiangulu,the art of stage scheduling is a shine,or tracing the plot space-time,or revealing the relationship between people,or highlight the key scenes,or promote the story plot,or pursuit harmonious stage scene.The directing art of Shenyinjiangulu not only reflects the individual director’s thought and style,but also reflects the directing art of Kunqu Opera and classical Chinese Opera. |
