With the changes of the society and the times and economic development,the consumption concept of male consumers has changed a lot.The number of male consumers is increasing.And the once-ignored male consumer market is getting a lot of attention.Many businesses have begun to change their mindset and focus on the potential male market.There is a huge market behind male consumers,so the male-dominated consumer era is just around the corner.Commercial display design occupies an important position in commercial development,which is the bridge of conveying the information of goods to consumers.The male consumer group has its own particularity.Accurately understanding the psychology of male consumption and researching the commercial display design according to this feature is to create a pleasant and comfortable commercial display environment for male consumers,guide men to consume wisely and promote consumption.Introducing the concept of the psychology of male consumption into commercial display design and directing the design practice based on this,have double significance in theory and practice for the construction of the commercial display environment of the market dominated by men.Based on related theories,this paper starts with the basic concept of the psychology of male consumption,applies the scientific theory of male consumption psychology to the practice of commercial display design and studies how to create a commercial display design environment satisfying the male consumption psychology in combination of theory and practice.The main contents of the paper include:first,the paper will analyze and study the male consumption psychology and male ergonomics.And the psychological characteristics and laws of male consumption will be analyzed and summarized through the author's field research.Second,analysis and research on the formal language of commercial display space will be carried out.At the same time,related cases are analyzed and relevant theories of commercial display design are further put forward.Third,this paper analyzes the application of male consumption psychology in the design of commercial display,and summarizes the characteristics of male consumption psychology in the commercial display design.Finally,the paper enumerates the actual projects designed by the author and analyzes them in combination with the related content of male consumption psychology.Based on the above analysis and research,through the combination of theoretical investigation and practical application,this paper designs a commercial display form that is suitable for a brand image,according to males' consumption psychology and aesthetic taste,to give commercial display design more artistic value,cultural value and commercial value and enable the commercial display design to produce an appeal.This paper tries to provide some reference for future commercial display design work.
