Research On "Buddha-nature Includes Good And Evil" Of Chuandeng

Chuandeng monk was acknowledge as the founder of Tianstai sect who made it thrive at end of ming dynasty.His thought,"buddha-nature includes good and evil",had a profound effort at that time.During the whole life,he achieved too much on Buddhism such as preaching and lecturing the meaning of Buddhism,extensive writings,excluding prejudice and defending the true principle,doing his utmost to explain the thought of perfect doctrine and make great contribution to Tiantai sect's reviving.In this thesis,the preface firstly narrated Chuandeng's life experience and writings.By researching his life,we knew his thought not only had doctrines of Tiantai sect but also mixed thought of Chan sect and pure land sect.Besides,this part of the thesis analyzed research status at home and abroad.Chapter one,it began to describe wiseman master firstly mentioned thought of "buddha-nature includes good and evil".Next,the thought's historical development was illustrated,and the theoretical basis of the thought was hackled.At last,Chuandeng's thought is expounded,and discusses the criticism of the Confucian theory of Good and evil theory of humanity.In chapter two,we discussed Chuandeng's thought about buddha-nature includes good and evil of status of perfect doctrine.The first section,"good and evil in nature and good and evil in practice",discusses the double distinction between good and evil on the level of theory and body,and good and evil on the level of business.The good and evil of humanity meant true nature of Buddha,while good and evil in practice are used to clean up the situation.The truth is the same as the ten kingdoms as the body,the truth as the following ten boundaries is used,between the two "no difference and difference," difference but no difference." In the second section," One thought three thousand word,Buddha-nature is full of all ",it focuses on the unenlightened mind of Dharma and the thought of Buddha nature before Tiantai sect,and analyzes the theoretical purport of "the Buddhas continue to be evil and to bring forth the constant nature and goodness." In the third section,"the evil method of Buddha-nature the ultimate aim of the pofect religion",the author analyzes the hostile view of "when the body is all",and highlights the theory of Buddha-nature as the extreme of the "Yuanton method" of the Tiantai sect.The third chapter,"the whole evil is evil,the whole nature evil with the use of beauty",mainly discusses how to use the clear body,in order to practice evil and achieve the nature of good and evil.The first section,"the view that evil is evil," fully realized that the next thought is mellow enough,understand and repair malignant empty,all evil is not evil,and finally into the state of Buddha-nature evil.The second section,"all the evil of Buddha-nature is the best," is based on the thought of "Nature and cultivation are one",and points out that the evil method of Buddha-nature evil is the best use of the Buddhas and Bodhisattva.In the third section," Good and evil are used freely,reaching all the facts," he pointed out that the theory of good and evil in the light of the light is to focus on observing and repairing,to repair the evidence,and finally to reach all the facts of the law.In the conclusion part,the author summarizes the thought of " Buddha-nature includes good and evil ",and highlights the theoretical value of " evilnature".
