Modern Chinese Literature Studies Series(1979-2016) Evaluation

Modern Chinese Literature Studies Series(hereinafter refereed to Series)is the journal of the modern Chinese literature research institute.The Series,published in 1979,is the only exclusive journal of modern Chinese literature research,representing the latest and highest level research in this field.Many researchers have published their results in the Series and became famous then.And it does provide a platform for a large number of professionals to communicate.However,there are few studies on the Series,which is an important part of modern Chinese literature research and is a good way to return to the literature field at that time.The Series not only owns the position,but also carries lots of academic research results and takes series of important tasks.This paper,according to the sequence of the development of modern Chinese literature,is divided into three chapters.The first chapter mainly talks about the Series' ten-year-long staggering and the trend of studies in eighty's.The content mainly consists of four parts.First,the “re-evaluation”and “filling blank” literary practice.Second,the trend of thought and genre.Third,the hot discussion on the theoretical method.Forth,the integration and analysis of literary ideas.The second and the third chapter extend this idea,and explore the development of modern Chinese literature disciplines from the aspects of the afterword,the catalogue,and the important articles.The second chapter discusses the exploration of the Series in the new background and the progress of the academic research in the 1990 s,and this chapter contains three parts.First,the analysis of cultural studies through the publish system,publication,payment system,education research.Second,the study of modern Chinese literature disciplines' development through the relation between Chinese literature and religious culture,regional culture,and the campus culture.Third,the impact and the development of the feminism.The third chapter analyzes the prosperity research results of the Series and the development of modern literature disciplines,and it is written from three parts.First,the extension of the scope of literature research.Second,the outstanding achievements of researchers.Third,the interpretation of “left-wing” literature at the present times.Looking through the Series from 1979-2016,a non-negligible relation has produced between the Series with a course of more than 30 years and the modern literature discipline,from which the value of the Series can be found.
