Each nation has its own myths and legends and religious needs and establish god beast,and the quantity and variety of god beast in myths and legends,including Shanghai,led by fairy tales but countless god beast with monsters.Sifang is an indispensable sacred animal in Chinese traditional culture,and it is said that the four gods represent the authority and power of the four directions and the symbol of the four seasons.The eastern green dragon,the western white tiger,the southern zhu sparrow,the northern xuanwu,respectively represent different directions and different seasons.The ferocity and strength of the sifang and their beautiful appearance attract countless Chinese sons and daughters.It is one of the unique ethnic beliefs of our country’s farming culture and the spirit of huaxia culture.In this way,the author USES the sifang deity to design the theme of sculpture,and USES the modern structuralism and cubism to design and create the sculpture of the head sculpture.The geometric modeling gives people the feeling of refreshing,extremely simple,fast,technology and cool,while the geometric modeling is convenient for mass production,and the production process is relatively simple and easy to operate.Geometric modeling is an indispensable part of public environment sculpture,the head sculpture is more simple,overall,at the same time,easy to install,easy to save material and the amount the advantages of the artistic effect,are popular with many art lovers and identity.The author thinks that four god beast for beast head can sculpture decoration in tourist attractions,art galleries,parks and public buildings,such as environment suitable for installation,and beautify the environment and cultural propaganda,etc.This article mainly focuses on the theoretical knowledge and sculpture of the author,and focuses on the relationship between geometric modeling and sculpture,as well as the practice of the creation of the divine beast’s head.It is hoped that the articles and works will bring some artistic inspiration and reference to readers.
