On The Literary System And Minority Literature Creation In China During The '17-year' Period

The literary system is a key word commonly used in the discussion on literature from the perspective of literary sociology,as well as a link between literature and society in their interaction.As manifestations of the interaction between literature and society,society constructs and controls literature,while society shows acceptance and feedback to society.Their interaction has not only promoted the socialization of literature,but also expanded the space of literature.The "17-year" period is the first stage for the booming development of Chinese minority literature after the founding of China.In this period,minority literature closely followed the pace of mainstream literature in its creation,and actively made creative efforts to respond to the political call,to concretely and authentically record the happy life of all ethnic groups under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party and the country.Meanwhile,with deep attachment to their own nationalities,minority writers intentionally or unconsciously infiltrated their works with pursuit of nationalization.Their literary creation(writing theme,writing methods and other aspects)was fully incorporated into the politicized and systematic institutional management.Literature became a tool for propagating politics and was asked to be written for the legitimacy and correctness of ideology.From the perspective of literary system,this thesis made an elementary analysis on development characteristics of minority literature during the “17-year” period.This thesis falls into 3 parts: introduction part,body part(4 chapters)and conclusion part.The introduction part briefly discusses the overall situation of minority literature during the “17-year” period,defines some related concepts involved in the thesis,and focuses on clarifying the current situation of research on minority literature during the “17-year” period.In the first chapter,the influence of the national ideology on the minority literature creation during the “17-year” period was analyzed.First of all,the historical background of the “17-year” period,the identity selection of minority writers and the influence of such identity on the writers' literary creation were discussed.Moreover,the “nationality” described in the literary creation of the minority writers was introduced.The identity selection of minority writers was not to abandon their national identity,but to pursue a new cultural identity.The pursuit of their own national character was a major feature of minority writers' literary creation.It can also be side that such pursuit is a requirement for the modernity of minority literature during the “17-year” period.In the second chapter,the influence of the writer training mechanism on the creation of minority literature during the “17-year” period was analyzed.This chapter mainly focused on the influence of literary organizations and writers training institutions on minority writers and their literary creation.This has a positive effect on improving the literary quality of minority writers and helps to promote the development of minority literature.In the third chapter,the influence of the literary dissemination mechanism on the minority literature minority during the “17-year” period was discussed.The discussion was launched mainly from 2 perspectives: the Chinese literary periodicals publishing mechanism and ethnic book publishing mechanism.In the discussion,ethnic books were further divided into 2 categories: ethnic books published in minority language and ethnic books published in the Chinese language.In the fourth chapter,the influence of the review and award system on the minority literature creation during the “17-year” period was analyzed.The literary review and reward in this period greatly affected the enthusiasm of the literary creation by minority writers and the writers' theme,style and content selection in literary creation.However,literary criticism of this period has a strong political coloring.The quality of literary works and the position of writers in the field of literature were inseparable from political value as a measurement.Although minority literature received a lot of criticism,it also got rewards.All of these influences have affected writers' pursuit of literary aesthetic value in their literary creation.
