From the foundation of People's Republic of China (1949) to "Proletarian Cultural Revolution" eruption (1966) ,the phase of Chinese literature has long been literary historians looked as a period that should treat as a special literary history, this period was called term conventionally was "seventeen-year literature". In the history of"seventeen-year literature", describing what travelled or imagined abroad could call"international topic"writing which literary phenomenon has not yet been fully studied. Combined political and historical cultural background at that time ,the paper studied the origin of the literature phenomenon, combed a lot of literary works. Based on this research, the paper studied the historical relationship with these works in this period, and the the types,characteristics and literariness of the literature phenomenonIn addition to the introduction and conclusion, the paper has been divided into three chapters.The first chapter mainly discussed seventeen years literature system in order to understand what social phenomenon produced the literature phenomenon. The second chapter in admit that there was sharply against between socialism and capitalism and the struggle for national independence of Asian,Africa and Latin American countries,based on those background,by combing many writers' works about"international topics"writing explore times trace of these works,and summarized types and characteristics of the international themes Chapter 3 was case analysis of important writers'work,which are the representative figures such asYangShuo and Aiqing.By reading their text carefully,we will recognize the literary creation was suppressed,holding that not all"international topics"writing was all empty slogans or political propaganda.
