An Analysis Of The Concept Of Development Of Organic Marxism

Development is the mode of existence for human beings,as well as the practice goal eternally.Since industrialization,mankind has created hitherto unknown material wealth for themselves,but also brings unprecedented problems and challenges.Human beings constantly exploit natural resources and pursue growth of wealth without restraint,making human beings have to face the consequences of the alienation of production and consumption,the widening gap between the rich and the poor,the destruction of the ecological environment and so on.The question is the voice of The Times.Seriously reflecting on the development of modernization and asking for what ideas should be applied to guide development is a major problem facing the world today.Organic Marxist,represented by small John Cob,Philip Clayton and Justin Hight,face the development dilemma of globalization,start from the increasingly serious ecological crisis,criticize the development model of capitalism with wealth creation as the core value.It points out that the main root of the ecological crisis and the crisis of modernity lies in the concept of the development of false capitalism and the two opposing mechanical thinking of the organic connection between the separant man and nature and society.The organic Marx doctrine,with the view of constructive postmodernism,advocates pursuing the harmonious coexistence between man and nature with organic thought.Organic Marx tries to integrate Marxism with the process philosophy of Whitehead and Chinese culture,analyzes and responds to the outstanding ecological and social problems facing the current human development.It regards the goal of Marx's social development value:realizing the free and comprehensive development of all human beings as the overall goal of human development.It is believed that the development must adhere to the organic and integral ecological civilization view,the value of common well-being and the sustainable development view of the community concept.The organic Marx doctrine affirms the positive role of Chinese culture and Chinese wisdom in dealing with global problems,and gives great hope to the Chinese road.China should objectively analyze and evaluate the development view of organic Marx based on the dialectical materialist standpoint of Marx's doctrine.No matter ideological communication or action implementation,we must always adhere to the principle of taking me as the main and for my own use.On the one hand,the development view of organic Marx doctrine provides a kind of ideological resources and comparative perspective for understanding China's “five great development ideas”,promoting the construction of the “community of human destiny”,insisting on “road confidence”,“theoretical confidence”,“institutional confidence” and“cultural confidence”.On the other hand,it is also important to see that organic Marx is not a surpass of Marx's doctrine.The incompleteness of its critique of capitalism and the failure to grasp the essence of the problem are capitalist productive relations themselves.It does not really find a practical and effective way to replace the capitalist development model,and its brief understanding of Chinese culture makes it unclear why Chinese wisdom is an alternativeto the development concept of capitalism.Therefore,we should dialectically recognize the significance and limitations of the organic Marx's view of development based on Marx's standpoint.
