An Analysis On We-media Ironic Teasing Utterance

Ironic teasing utterance is a common language style on We-Media.The appropriate utilization of the ironic teasing utterance not only helps people to express opinions and emotions,but also creates humorous effects,so as to promote the smooth interpersonal communications in language expression.This paper combines pragmatics and the relevant theories of cognition to carry out systematic research to the ironic teasing utterance on We-Media.This paper includes five parts in details.The first chapter-introduction mainly carries out brief carding and remark to the correlation research conditions of the humorous language,critical utterance and We-Media.In addition,it also defines and classifies the item We-Media ironic teasing utterance.Meanwhile,it elaborates the purpose,significance,research methods and linguistic data sources of this paper.The second chapter mainly discusses the language application characteristics of We-Media ironic teasing utterance from four perspective: vocabulary,voice,grammar and rhetoric.Such utterance has the characteristics of innovative using of words,application of rhythm approaches,variable using of the same sentence structure and employing several rhetorical devices.The third chapter emphasizes on discussing the verbal communication structure and pragmatic strategy of the We-Media ironic teasing utterance.The verbal communication structure of this utterance is principally constituted by the communication subject,communication background and communication intention.However,the pragmatic strategy of the ironic and sarcastic verbal behavior mainly includes violating the cooperative principle and violating the politeness principle from the macroscopic perspective,while from the microcosmic perspective includes employing special verbal style,employing distinct language pattern,breaching the logical reasons and so on.The fourth chapter analyzes types and functions of the conceptual metaphors on We-Media ironic teasing utterance.Research finds that the conceptual metaphor in such utterance has important significance to enhance the humorous and ironic effect of the utterance,persuade the addressee and construct the text.The fifth chapter firstly discusses the individual factors and social factors affecting the generation of the ironic teasing utterance,then discusses the benign ironic teasing utterance and the inferior ironic teasing utterance respectively.It is believed that the benign ironic teasing utterance will create a certain positive effect to both two parties of communication and the social reality.However,the inferior ironic teasing utterance has five detailed patterns of manifestation,which are harsh language,vulgar meaning,negative subject,excessive entertainment and conventional paraphrase.Such utterance might go against the healthy development of the language,diffusing negative thought and hurt the teased object greatly.In the end,on the basis of the earlier discussion,we put forward the construction strategies of the mechanism for selecting the superior ironic teasing utterance and eliminating the inferior.
