Traditional Cultural Resources In Yu Hua's Novels

Yu Hua is a representative writer of pioneer literature.His novels show the rebellion and subversion of traditional culture and literary concepts.The structure of the novel is loose and the characters are symbolized,which is only a simple interpretation of the pioneering features of Yu Hua's creation process.At present,the academic research on Yu Hua is concentrated on the characteristics of "pioneer",and there is little research on the traditional cultural factors in his novels.By re-examining and analyzing his works,it can be found that there is a use of traditional cultural resources.The pioneer spirit has always existed Yu Hua's creation.The unconscious absorption and application of traditional cultural resources in his novels have highlighted his pioneering heterogeneity and unique innovation.The introduction mainly sorts out and integrates the research status of the writer Yu Hua in the academic field and analyzes some representative views.It also explains the research purpose,ideas and h methods of this paper.In the first chapter,this paper analyzes the thoughts of life and Chinese traditional cultural concepts in Yu Hua's novels.In the novel,the characters' mishaps and miseries reflect the Confucian thought of conforming to the destiny and suffering.The themes of violence,death and revenge in the novel are related to Xun Zi's theory of evil nature.The second chapter discusses the experiment of form and the traditional narrative mode of Yu Hua's novels.On writing forms,there is a reference of traditional genre novels,such as novels about talents and beauties,the chivalry and crime fictions,and so on.And on the narrative mode,there is an absorption and application of the traditional narrative method “flashback”.The third chapter discusses the modern transformation of traditional cultural resources.No matter it is in his early works,which is with an idea of evil nature and fatalism,or the later Bottom writing,Yu Hua always adheres to the writing of folk traditions.This is both the strategy and the means of his resistance to the tradition,which fully reflects the pioneering nature of Yu Hua's novels.The conclusion mainly summarizes that in Yu Hua's novels,the traditional cultural resources have irreplaceable significance and function,and are the important resources on which literature grows and develops.Excellent literary works should not only inherit and absorb the traditions,but also break through and surpass them in the modern sense,so as to make them more contemporary.The uniqueness of the writer's creation is generated in the collision and fusion.
