| At present,China’s industrial support policies for the cultural and creative industries are mainly used in the form of financial subsidies and tax preferences to stimulate the development of cultural and creative enterprises. The implementation of financial subsidies and tax preferences for cultural and creative industries is comprehensive, and in recent years, the state’s efforts to implement these support policies have also been increasing. The purpose of implementing these supporting policies is to enable the cultural and creative industries to achieve better development. That is,the government’s financial subsidies and tax preferences are closely related to the corporate performance of the cultural and creative enterprises. The current research on government support policies implemented for cultural and creative industries is mostly an analysis of the effects of individual policies, and there are few comparative analyses of different support policies. For this reason, this thesis will compare the effects of financial subsidies and tax preferences on the listed companies of cultural and creative industries from the perspective of corporate performance. The purpose is to find policy tools that are more conducive to the growth of corporate performance of the listed companies in cultural and creative industries. This thesis will use normative research method to elaborate on financial subsidies and tax preferences, and combined with multivariate linear regression analysis method to systematically analyze the effects of the two policies on corporate performance of listed companies in the cultural and creative industries. The main contents of this thesis are as follows: Firstly, introduce the related concepts involved in this thesis, make a brief review of the existing related research;secondly, based on the analysis of related theories on government support policies and the impact of those support policies on corporate performance combined with the actual situation, the measurement indicators required for the empirical study of this thesis have been chosen, and conducted empirical research on the effects of financial subsidies and tax preferences on corporate performance of listed companies in the cultural and creative industries;finally, the thesis draws the conclusion and puts forward some countermeasures. The research shows that the government’s financial subsidies and tax preferences have a certain positive impact on the corporate performance of listed companies in cultural and creative industries. And tax preferences are more conducive to the improvement of the corporate performance of listed companies in cultural and creative industries than financial subsidies. Therefore, the government should regard tax preferences as the primary policy tool for supporting listed companies in cultural and creative industries, and use t financial subsidies as an auxiliary support tool. |
