The Contrast Between Renaissance Italy And China In Religious Painting

The main reason why religious paintings are deeply discussed by many scholars or artists is because that religion culture plays an important role in the development of human civilization.Along with the development of human civilization.Religion culture shows the different forms of artistic expression in different historical stages.The religious derivation,which is the Religious Painting Art,has been created to meet people“s needs of religious spirit and aesthetic sense.It is clearly that we can see the difference of eastern and western religious art culture by comparing the mainstream religious art expression form and religious painting art.Painting reflects religious thought,while religious thought influence on painting.Therefore,my essay will focus on the diversity development of the religion art painting culture under different religious background and time background and how it influence on painting use "Buddha","Tao" and "Christian",these three representatives religion culture as examples to analyse and discover that how these different religions art show their unique religious doctrine through pictures productions and artists.I will use analytical method to compare the east and the west technique of religion art productions expression.Especially I will emphases the difference between Christian religion arts in the renaissance period and Buddhism arts.I hope that through this research and exploration,we can have a clearer understanding of the similarities and differences between Eastern and Western religious paintings.
