Study On 'Cooperation Consciousness' In String Quartet Performances

String Quartet is the most important form of chamber music in classical music.It is one of the best ways to understand classical music.It consists of four parts: the first violin and the second violin,the viola and the cello.It is the most representative of all chamber music forms.The form of String Quartet has a history of 300 years of development.It is ‘the perfect balance between individual freedom and ensemble consciousness.It is the most ideal,harmonious and classical combination of chamber music.Based on the research,the author finds that neglecting chamber music teaching is a common phenomenon in domestic music teaching.At present,professional music and art colleges in China need to develop chamber music vigorously.They should attach importance to the training of basic skills of playing ensemble,strengthen students' consciousness of cooperation and enhance their cooperation ability.The training of string quartet can not only help students understand music correctly and express music accurately,but also help to cultivate and improve the artistic accomplishment of our students.Starting from the establishment of "cooperation consciousness" in the performance of string quartet,this paper makes a thorough discussion from three aspects: the overview of string quartet,the basis and concrete embodiment of establishing "cooperation consciousness",and the effect of establishing "cooperation consciousness" in the training of string quartet.Firstly,the definition and development of String Quartet are sorted out,then the concepts of Quartet and ensemble are explained in detail,and the differences between trio,duet and string quartet are analysed.It also analyses and summarizes the basis of establishing the ‘sense of cooperation' and its concrete manifestation in three aspects,namely,the manifestation of theoretical accomplishment,psychological coordination and technical manifestation.This paper expounds concretely that the four performers should reach a consensus on the understanding of their works and have a coordinated concept of ‘second creation'.This require performers to be ‘multi-purpose' in the performance process,so as to achieve the integration of personality and unity.In addition,technical requirements are put forward to achieve the coordination in intonation,rhythm and speed,strength change,bowing and string rubbing,so as to achieve the unity of collective thinking and play harmonious music.The last part summarizes the effect of establishing "sense of cooperation" in String Quartet training and the role it plays in improving professional skills and comprehensive quality,in order to verify the importance of establishing ‘sense of cooperation'.After the above research,according to the author's own performance learning experience,theory and practice,a general summary of the paper was made.It is hoped that through the writing of the thesis,it will provide a little strength for the study of the performance and training of string quartet,making the domestic music professionals attach importance to chamber music,to strengthen the training of chamber music and vigorously develop chamber music.
