The Genre Study Of Vengeance Narration In Chinese Contemporary Literature

The theme of vengeance penetrates the history of literature because of its pervading mood of fear and moral experience.In the history of Chinese contemporary literature,a large amount of vengeance works are noticeable because of its distinct sign of times and complex thoughts and connotations.For a long time,academic circle keeps focusing and studying vengeance narration.But the works of vengeance narration classification is not enough.This thesis will deal with the vengeance narration classifications in the view of genre.Discussing the difference and similarities between each classifications will also included.The whole thesis will divided into five chapters.The first chapter is introduction,it introduce the reasons of selecting the title,the target and meaning of this thesis and the previous academic works.The second chapter is about grand genre,it define the feature of grand genre in three ways: narration background,narration function and the property of duality.The third chapter is about Jianghu genre.It define what Jianghu is in narrative space,imagery,narrative element and aesthetic standard.The fourth chapter is fable genre.This part expound what fable genre is.Metaphor,thoughts,deconstruction of vengeance and defamiliarization will be used in this part to explain fable genre.The last chapter is conclusion.It conclude the relation between three kinds of genre and discuss the meaning of the genre study of vengeance narration.
