Study On The Xinjiang Carpet In Qing Dynasty

Xinjiang,one of the carpet oringins in China,has given birth to Xinjiang Carpet,which has played an indispensable role in the development of Chinese carpet.From the perspective of contexture technique spreading,the weaving process of carpet developed and spreaded successively under the baptism of history,and Xinjiang Carpet contexture techniques diffused through the paths of trade communication,population migration and so on,which made it develop into various regional carpets combined with different regional cultural features.From the perspective of contexture technique inheritance,Xinjiang Carpet has a long history and now still enjoys a global reputation for its exquisite weaving process and gorgeous ornamentations.In Qing dynasty,having gathered rich experience from the development of previous generations and promoted by factors like court culture and the development of folk carpet industry,it drove the Xinjiang Carpet industry into a thrilling course,which is of undeniable importance both to the development of Chinese carpet industry in modern times and the opening of overseas market.From its birth to Qing dynasty,Xinjiang Carpet is always a objective carrier of culture development and inheritance.Its ornamentations coloured people's routine,which expresses the regional thoughts and culture apart from meet people's needs of physiological drive and visual enjoyment.And not only has it become the historical memory of cultural development in different historical stages of Xinjiang,but also reflects the living customs,aesthetic taste and national personality of the Xinjiang region.The thesis analyzed Xinjiang Carpet ornamentations' art feature of modelling,composition and colours,and it also contrastively analyzed the creative changes of the ornamentations in different stages of the Qing dynasty,mainly based on the periodic features of Xinjiang Carpet development in Qing,aiming at explore the hiding culture behind the Xinjiang Carpet ornamentations in Qing dynasty.The development of Xinjiang Carpet today should be based on the preservation of its outstanding traditional achievements and go with the tide of nowadays social development,gain experience to make creative breakthroughs,and win new vitality and shine again with the strongly support of our national policy as a traditional handicraft.Based on literature,archaeology and physical pictures,this paper makes a systematic analysis and research on the evolution process of Xinjiang Carpet in history,the inheritance and dissemination of contexture techniques,and the cultural connotation and aesthetic taste contained in Xinjiang Carpet ornamentations in Qing dynasty.It is hoped that the research on Xinjiang Carpet art in the Qing dynasty can play a certain role in promoting the inheritance and development of the traditional handicraft industry represented by Xinjiang contexture,so that people can pay more attention to the inheritance and development of the traditional handicraft contexture techniques and the cultural phenomenon behind it.
