In recent years,as a special kind of books,picture books have been widely loved by readers,showing great vitality in the book sales market,which has formed a cultural phenomenon worthy of attention.In this context,it is of great practical significance to select different perspectives to conduct theoretical research on picture books,to guide the creation of picture books through theoretical research,and to continuously launch truly popular picture books in order to form a benign ecological environment for research and creation of picture books.Good picture books must have a good story text as the foundation and support.Inspired by the stone culture of Chinese traditional culture,the author creates the role image of small stone as the source of inspiration,and tries to inject cultural elements of different historical periods into it.Combining with the requirements of adult picture books for narrative structure,the author writes according to the criteria of distinct theme,clear logic,reasonable structure and full interest.The text of the matter.The life of picture books lies in narration.Like painting,film,literature and drama,it has a specific narrative structure.Specifically,in each picture book,because of their different design ideas and influenced by many factors,there are great differences in the narrative structure,and ultimately lead to the different appearance of the work,forming different styles,which deserve our attention and research.On the basis of describing the research background,current situation,purpose and significance,this paper summarizes and analyses the factors influencing the narrative structure of the picture book,such as material selection,value orientation,narrative characteristics,story text and role shaping,taking the process of creating “The Little Stone is Dreaming” as the blueprint and the narrative structure of the adult picture book as the core.It focuses on the narrative structure of the works,in order to show the process of the works from scratch to gradually form a unique style,and comb the relevant experience,so as to lay the foundation for better creation of picture books in the future.
