Psychoanalytic Situation In Film And Radical Evil

Since the beginning of the cinema,it has been regarded as a media reflection of human society.In the mass context,there is often a statement of “movies are like dreams”,however,the essence of this description points to the dual characteristics of cinema with the reflection of the form of human consciousness and phenomena.On the other hand,as a disgusting but lingering phenomenon in human society,evil always stimulates people to think about it.The radical evil is a ethical concept about evil that Kant proposed.As a reflection of the world,the film has always characterized the evil in its own methods.This thesis will use the psychoanalytic theory of Freud and Lacan,combined with the theory of media research,to explore the relationship between film and the radical evil of human nature.The thesis is divided into six parts: first,the background and significance of the thesis topic,the present situation of the analysis and research,the general logical idea and research methods of the thesis,and the summary of the innovations;Second,elaboraton the concept of symbolic;Third,discussion of the film as extension for the symbolic;Fourth,elaboration film contains an psychoanalytic situation in there;Fifth,through multiple films as examples,analyze the relationship between the psychoanalytic situation in film and the radical evil;Finally,make a final summary of the whole research,generalized how does the research conclusions guiding practice,and put forward to the future feasible research.
