In the past ten years,the "Kung Fu Panda" series has been in the world,which reflects the success of cross-cultural communication between Chinese traditional culture and animation.This paper uses the literature method,logical reasoning method,case analysis method and other research methods,from the history,technology,cultural communication and other aspects,taking the martial arts anime "Kung Fu Panda" series of films as an example,the current situation of the integration of Chinese martial arts and animation And strategy for analysis.The study found that the integration of Chinese martial arts and animation film has certain inevitability.On the one hand,Chinese martial arts provides a rich theme for anime movies.On the other hand,anime movies have made a new form of Chinese martial arts diversity media expression.The "Kung Fu Panda" series is the product of the development of martial arts animation to a new stage.Borrowing the layered interpretation mode of film science,from the audition layer,"Kung Fu Panda" realized the explicit expression of Chinese martial arts symbols;from the story level,the series continued the American humor with linear narrative;from the cultural level,it completed The invisible spread of the Chinese martial arts spirit.According to Hall's "secondary coding" theory,the "Kung Fu Panda" series as a successful model of cross-cultural communication,through two codes,makes Chinese martial arts culture effectively spread in the audience with heterogeneous culture.Based on the analysis of the martial arts anime film "Kung Fu Panda",this paper proposes the following countermeasures from perspective of cross-cultural communication: 1.Based on the strategic choice of transmitting core values,the inheritance of spiritual culture is completed.2.Based on the material selection strategy of open creation,the tentacles of finding materials are extended to the whole world.3.Based on the strategy selection of specific audience fields,expand the audience of anime theme as much as possible.4.Based on the strategic choice of building a “third-party culture”,the audiences in different cultural backgrounds can generate cultural identity.5.The choice of strategy based on high and low context conversion reduces the degree of “cultural discount”.6.Based on the cultural export strategy of “Chinese and foreign co-production films”,the martial arts animation industry chain will be formed to enhance the level of animation production in China,so as to enhance the international slang rights of Chinese martial arts.
