Cross-cultural Communication Of The Contemporary Chinese Swordsmen Film

The swordsmen film is a genre film whose commercial operation is very mature in Chinese commercial films , and takes an important part in world cinemas. At present, Form of the swordsmen films is more flexible and diverse owing to the high production level. So the swordsmen film, a symbol of Chinese nationality characteristics, is making an expansion of the Chinese film market capacity.Forming the core competitiveness of national cinemas, the swordsmen film has been playing an important role as a media in cross-cultural communication. Now, more and more swordsmen films have successfully rushed out of the tight encirclement of Hollywood movies, coming to the world stage. Even some swordsmen films gained international film festival awards, and made a great success of the box office, winning the audiences' recognition and praise over the world. Proved through practice, with the favorable conditions that The Interaction of Cultural Globalization and upgrading of the domestic soft power, the swordsmen film can do good at the communication between cultures. In addition to its own attraction of combination of martial arts and dance, stimulates the international audience's curiosity about Chinese culture. These are all the advantages for the swordsmen film to participatein the cross-cultural communication. But there are a lot of obstacles to the road of cross-cultural communication for the Chinese swordsmen films. From the language barriers to the cultural barriers, from the surface to the deep, the cultural discount is everywhere. Coupled with production level of the swordsmen film is not satisfactory, and its single channel of communication, the road of intercultural communication for the Chinese swordsmen film is quite hard. In this paper, I analyzed the Chinese swordsmen movie from the perspective of intercultural communication, including its cross-cultural communication status, its advantages and barriers of cross-cultural communication, at last I gave some suggestions to the swordsmen film for cross-cultural communication under the Cultural globalization.
