There are great differences between Chinese and Arabic.The differences in psychological verbs between Chinese and Arabic languages can lead to interference,which causes difficulties and errors for learners whose native language is Arabic.The main obstacles for learners come from Arabic interference.By comparing the two language structures the similarities and differences,we can predict the language errors and difficulties of learners whose native language is Arabic.Therefore,this thesis uses corpus software to compare the similarities and differences between Chinese-Arabic psychological verb collocation patterns in a certain context.Through comparative studies,we can predict that learners with native language Arabic speakers are learning the difficulties and errors of Chinese psychological verbs and trying to limit the influence of mother tongue on Chinese as a second language acquisition.The thesis comprises of four chapters.The first chapter,is the introduction.Including preface,research purposes,research questions,research objects,research methods,corpus used in this paper,and Chinese psychology verb ontology research.The second chapter is to investigate the psychological verbs of Chinese and Arabic through ANTCONC corpus software,mainly to investigate the difficulty of similarities and differences and learning words.The third chapter is the analysis and discussion of the results of the second chapter of the study.The fourth chapter is the conclusion.
