Although specialized tone teaching is only concentrated in the introductory course, students' tone learning and correcting will accompany the whole process of language learning.Inaccurate tones can lead to the emergence of foreign accents, sometimes even resulting in communication barriers.During the one-year teaching period in Peru,I found that Chinese students in Peru had many problems on T2 and T3,so I became interested in the study of Peruvian students' tone acquisition.I began to collect the firsthand information about the pronunciation of primary and intermediate Chinese learners.By using modern phonetic analysis methods, the author analyzed the phonetic materials from two aspects of monosyllabic and double-syllable.Error analysis, interlanguage theory and tone pattern theory are used to analyze the pronunciation of single and double tones of Peruvian students, and the errors in the pronunciation of single and double tones of Peruvian students are found out from the results of data analysis. Finally, through the analysis of phonetic materials, the author finds that Peruvian students have a higher error rate of T2 and T3 in monosyllabic tone, with T2 pronunciation biased toward T3,the break point behind, and T3 pronunciation biased toward T2,the break point ahead. In terms of total errors, intermediate students are lower than junior students.Peruvian students have higher errors in T2 + T1,T3 + T3,T4 + T3,and the errors in double tone are basically consistent with those in single tone.By comparing the results of pronunciation analysis of junior and middle school students,it is found that the error rate of double tone is lower and the tendency of tone sandhi is more obvious than that of primary school students. This phenomenon may be related to the high proficiency of tone and better language sense of middle school students. Finally, according to the results of phonetic analysis, combined with my own teaching experience in Peru and the teaching practice of the local Confucian Academy, this paper puts forward some suggestions on tone teaching for different levels of tone acquisition errors.
