The life of history lies in accuracy,which depends on accurate facts,so the dictation of an experiencer from the past is likely to provide reliable evidence for history.In the middle of 20th century,oral history has gained the recognition of historians worldwide and become one documentary genre.There are various ways to record oral history,and in this documentary,camera shooting is adopted to document,and effective questions are asked in order to awaken the interviewee's personal memories.Documentary A Confucius' Temple in Xianyou records the oral history of several people who participated the history of or rebuild the Confucius'temple in Xianyou,a county in Fujian province.These people are the first and the current curators of Xianyou Museum,and a few people with the family name of'Zheng'who once lived in the temple.Basing on my project,I will share my experience of the preparation before the filming and the communicative skills during the interviewing;further,the literature value of the interviewees'oral history will be explored.
