A Brief Analysis Of The Narrative Art Of Humanistic Documentary

The humanistic documentary refers to the documentary that shows the vicissitudes of history and the vicissitudes of culture through recording human's life.With the progress of science and technology and the development of present age,the variety of documentaries is also increasing.The humanistic documentary that takes the recording of social life,the show of individual destiny and the social background as the subject has conquered a large number of audiences with its unique narrative art,thus attracting the attention of the society.This article combines the theory of narratology and the analysis of film and television art.The first section analyzes the narrative strategies of humanistic documentaries on the basis of the narration theory of Gerard Genette;The second section analyzes the narrative structure of humanistic documentaries from the perspective of complex line narrative structure;The third section analyzes the narrative perspective of the humanistic documentary based on the viewpoint of external focus and inner focus of Gerard Genette;The fourth section mainly takes the author's graduation work "Our Old Castle"as an example to explore the effect of audio-visual elements on narrative effect in humanistic documentaries.
