In recent years,more and more multimedia in China have begun to establish documentary channels,and the international and domestic markets have been rapidly expanding.Even some western newspapers evaluate Chinese documentaries,especially humanistic documentaries,as ideological output.Although mixed,they are also from another angle.It reflects that the Chinese documentary market has received unprecedented attention.In view of the fact that documentary is an art combining visual and auditory sounds,in addition to the picture,sound is also an important channel for audiences to obtain information.Sound is not an attachment or a foil to the picture,but a whole.The picture is a part of the information and the sound is another.In part,sound and picture are equally important.A documentary without sound is like a deaf person.Therefore,the rational use of sound can enhance the objectivity of the documentary,give people a sense of realism in time and space,and reproduce the real scene to a certain extent.Full and proper use of good sounds has a multiplier effect on enhancing the authenticity and artistry of documentaries and the narrative of documentaries.Xi’an drum music,as a world-class intangible cultural heritage,is a traditional folk large-scale drum music that has been circulating in Xi’an(ancient Chang’an)and surrounding areas for thousands of years.It is also the most complete large-scale folk music species found and preserved in China so far.One.Therefore,from the nature of the topic itself,the work "Sound of the Sky: Xi’an Drum Music" is a documentary inseparable from "sound",whether it is from the sound of the subject’s speech or the sound of the instrument’s percussion when the drum music is played.The sound of the player’s humming rhyme can also be seen from the sound in the natural environment(various sounds made by the person being photographed and the environment in which things are located)and the commentary provided laterThe sound in the works will occupy a large proportion.Therefore,this study takes "sound" as the research object,uses the documentary "Sound of the Sky: Xi’an Drum Music" as the research carrier,narratology as the theoretical support,and uses participatory observation,in-depth interviews,and narrative research to explore "sound " The narrative function in humanistic documentaries.The main body of the article is divided into six chapters.The first chapter introduces the research background,the significance and value of the research and the research methods.The second chapter is a literature review,which summarizes the relevant domestic and international research studies.The chapter uses the work "Sound of the Sky: Xi’an Drum Music" as an example to classify the sounds that bear the narrative function in the work,which are divided into three categories: commentary,contemporaneous sound,and sound.The fourth chapter explains the sound.The embodiment of the narrative structure in the humanistic documentary,that is,the progressive use of the stepwise and center-line series;the fifth chapter focuses on the transformation of the narrative perspective in the humanistic documentary through the use of zero-focus narrative and internal and external Gathering multiple perspectives combined with narration to analyze the work,freely and flexibly switching between the third-person perspective and the first-person perspective,making the work more complete;the sixth chapter analyzes and summarizes the sound of the narrative rhythm in the humanistic documentary.Grasp,the sound uses the narrative rhythm methods of omission,outline and scene to make the work full of rhythmic beauty,avoiding Monotonous and tedious. |
