Art is the product of human spiritual activities.Sculpture is a materialized art as well as a subject closely combining technology and materials.All sculpture works are realized through materials.This paper takes the common development of materials and sculpture as the background and gestalt art psychology "heterogeneous isomorphism theory" as the theoretical basis to analyze the phenomenon of heterogeneous isomorphism in sculpture art,and take the combination of soft materials and hard materials as an example to analyze the aesthetic feeling of combining rigid-softness with softness in sculpture art.The paper is divided into four parts.The first part elaborates the research background,theoretical basis,purpose and significance.The second part,based on the analysis of the artistic development of "heterogeneous isomorphism",discusses the influence of this theory on the artistic development of sculpture from three aspects:creation,aesthetics and creation subject.The third part takes soft and hard materials as an example to analyze the premise and skills of combining soft and hard materials in sculpture,as well as the transformation between soft and hard materials.The fourth part analyzes the beauty of combining hardness and softness generated by the isomorphism of soft and hard materials in the sculpture art,and combines the feelings of creation.Finally,through the analysis of the heterogeneity and isomorphism in the sculpture art,we can enrich the aesthetic experience and expand the perspective of observing the world.
